The Revolabs FLX™ Wireless Conference Phone combines the flexibility of Revolabs wireless microphones with a wireless speaker and a wireless dialer. The FLX works with analog or VoIP phone networks, as well as GotoMeeting, Webex, Skype, and Google Hangouts. Since telephony technology is constantly evolving, we suggest that you periodically update the firmware in your Revolabs FLX to the most current firmware release. This will ensure you get the best system performance possible.
To start, you will need:
(1) PC with available USB port, running Windows XP, Vista, or 7, with an internet connection
(1) USB Type A Male to USB Mini Type A Male cable
Once you have gathered the above items, please download the Revolabs FLX firmware installer from our website: http://www.revolabs.com/Support/Product-Line/FLX.aspx and then click Quick Links> Firmware Installer on the right hand side of the screen.
Connect the USB cable between your PC, and the port labeled "USB A" of the Revolabs FLX base station (the rectangular plastic box). Please note: the other USB port labeled "USB-B" will not work.
Install the Revolabs software you just downloaded onto your PC. Your anti-virus software may pause the installation; rest assured our software is virus-free and click "OK" as many times as needed to complete the installation.
To run the software, go to START MENU>REVOLABS and select the FLX Firmware Installer (NOTE: for Windows 7, you need to right click on "FLX Firmware Installer", and select "Run as Admin")
Follow all the on-screen instructions on your PC to accomplish the update.
