Now that 2012 is behind us, I’m really excited about what’s in store for 2013! Congress is back and it looks like the worst part of the fiscal cliff has been averted despite much posturing and finger pointing. There are more new job openings and the economy is projected to grow, albeit slightly. All this, plus video at the desktop (as well as everywhere else for that matter) is on the verge of exploding, giving me great optimism that 2013 will be a good year for Revolabs and the industry as a whole.

Revolabs is very well known in the AV space and we have enjoyed fantastic growth and adoption of our products since Solo™ (our first product) came on the market back in 2006. Over the last several years we have added new products to our portfolio such as FLX™, our wireless conference phone solution positioning us to become a leader in audio for Unified Communication (UC). Despite the varied nature of our partners, channels, and the needs in the UC market, we have not forgotten nor stopped developing new products for the AV market place, which has strongly embraced our solutions.

As a company, our new products are heavily influenced by direct inputs from customers and our partners. Most recently, our GSA and HD™ MaxSecure AES256 products were a brainchild developed specifically based on direct feedback from the field. We’ve heard you, and we continue to listen as we develop our product roadmap. We have not let our worldwide growth and expansion get in the way of our fundamental principles of providing superior audio for video and audio conferencing solutions.

As we progress into 2013 there will be several major product announcements that will continue our tradition of bringing unprecedented audio technology to the marketplace. In 2013 we are planning to introduce new products into both the traditional AV and UC market segments as well as crossover products that will provide superior audio quality to both. These products will not simply be minor improvements to existing products but rather new products featuring significant technological advances that our customers have been asking for and have come to expect from Revolabs. We will also announce some exciting partnerships that will significantly extend the exposure of Revolabs superior audio solutions to more and more end customers worldwide.

With the economy looking up, our partners telling us they are busy and the knowledge that I have of our products, partnerships and solutions coming out in 2013, I feel that this will be a great year for Revolabs! Stay tuned in Q1 for some initial announcements…
