Regional Sales Manager (NJ & PA)

This dynamic, growth driven technology company is currently looking for the right person to function as a Regional Sales Manager for the NJ & PA US market. Preferred location of this candidate will be in NJ.  This company has a focus on Unified Communications, Collaboration, and Enterprise AV.  The right candidate will manage the resources within the territory to grow market share and brand awareness. 


  • Manage Channel resources within the territory
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Resellers within the territory
  • Work with Rep Firms and Distribution resources to develop opportunities within the territory
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain and/or expand sales within the assigned territory
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity funnel
  • Forecasts the demand for product(s) within assigned territory
  • Interface with key customers to understand the customer's overall objectives and requirements
  • Contacts customers, both channel and end user, on a regular basis to maintain account relationship, advise of new product and service offerings, and obtain feedback on products
  • Expedites the resolution of customer concerns
  • Prepares and conducts technical/product presentations and demonstrations in conjunction with the territory Field Sales Engineer
  • Participates in trade shows by representing the organization and sharing information on products
  • Provides feedback to marketing and product engineering teams for future product enhancements
  • Shares ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of product life cycle (plan, design, integrate, manage)


  • This is a hunter role targeting both end-users and DMRs/Installers
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales in a high tech business, Experience with Install A/V or UC strongly preferred
  • In-Depth Knowledge distribution and sales processes
  • Strong track record of sales management and ability to achieve sales targets
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and manage accounts
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Needs to be a “team” player
  • Experience/Familiarity with strongly preferred
  • Requires up to/over 50% travel
