Position Summary:

The Channel Partner will be responsible for the growth of existing relationships with select partners. Primary sales activity will be focused on acquisition of new revenue from the partners.  Also, this individual will be responsible for the continued support to these partners on an ongoing basis in an effort to develop the business. This individual will also help develop strategic business plans to help drive revenue through the partners. He/she will be responsible for ongoing training and development of partners and will be required to stay current on all emerging technological advances in the marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying opportunities for collaboration and leading all aspects of execution to roll out
• Building relationships with key partner stakeholders to understand their business objectives and ensure mutual success
• Developing an in-depth understanding of Yamaha products and articulating our value proposition to a variety of partners
• Communicating frequently with partners to gather feedback from mutual end-clients and gain insight into industry trends and regulatory developments
• Collaborating with internal teams to define priorities, plan joint roadmaps, and serve as the voice of our partners in internal discussions
• Working closely with Marketing to develop joint positioning and messaging collateral, and create comprehensive channel marketing programs that educate and build awareness
• Consistently performs at 100% of monthly quota
• Acts as the primary contact for customer escalations
• Provides information for on-going training related to industry trends and vendor offerings
• Attends trainings for new products, services and technology
• Travels a minimum of 50% of the time
 


Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant telecommunications/Unified Communications sales experience
• Proven track record exceeding revenue quota targets
